| Cost Estimator (for an Ayala company) | |
· Manage collection of data and information needed for setting up and/or updating of standard and reference unit prices for materials, equipment and civil works. · Establish standard costs for regularly occurring civil works items based on past experience tempered by certain assumptions, desired efficiency, current economic condition, industry standards and other factors. · Establish operating cost standards based on actual data benchmarked against industry standards (local and international). · Provide standard cost for special or non-recurring items using appropriate assumptions, proper and generally accepted computation to arrive at a correct, fair and reasonable costing. · Manage conduct of peer review sessions to confirm reasonableness of computed unit costs and present them to the MWC Technical Working Group (Main) for review and approval.     · Manage construction of a logical easy to understand financial/cost model in MS Excel for each work item under each of the civil works category and ensure compilation of standard unit costs in the prescribed coding system including their proper hard copy and electronic filing. · Participate in bid reviews, clarification, evaluation or negotiation as resource person.
