Sales Associate - CDR
WCI CDR Subcontractor CDR- (COMMERCIAL DISPLAY RACKING) Position Description The CDR Associate will initiate telephone contact with lists generated by WCI of potential Commercial Display Racking (CDR) customers. The CDR Associate will also call and research all web leads. It is the goal of the Associate to establish contact, determine the level of interest and then close the sale on CDR kit orders, eventually learning to take the customer from design to installation. The successful CDR Associate will also take the initiative to research and qualify additional customers on their own if all existing pre-qualified lists have been exhausted. Contact is to identify the purchasing decision makers for the products that WCI offers. This includes: builders, architects, remodelers, designers, HVAC contractors, wine stores, wineries, restaurants, bars and hotels. After establishing contact it is necessary to qualify the customer for purchasing from WCI’s CDR line. This includes but is not limited to the following: • Answering questions regarding the CDR line • Quoting costs and lead times for delivery • Following up on previous sales and existing quotes • Contacting Google web leads • Cold calling potential clients • Creating design requests, sending designs and quotes to customers and closing those designs • Answering installation questions and requesting replacement parts as necessary • Working with internal WCI employees to forecast expected sales • Working with internal WCI employees to stay current on lead times for shipping, shipped racks, payments needed and payments made The leads should be followed up with the priority on existing quotes and Google leads, warm leads including new liquor license applicants next, and cold calls to existing wine store lists last. Initially you will be evaluated on your ongoing performance in understanding the product line and beginning to take part in the sales process. As you gain experience in the process WCI will begin to outline sales goals for you to make. The hours to be worked are 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday US Eastern time. Equipment, Resources and support It is expected that the CDR Associate will supply their own computer equipment and have reliable internet connections. WCI will generate all necessary websites, links and host phone services. Any additional items required, and not listed, will need to be requested for approval in advance of purchasing.
