An exciting opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team based in Papua New Guinea. Pacific Industries is a leader in the canning and bottling industry, with supply and distribution of a wide range of leading brands of FMCG products throughout the country. This is a hands on position and the successful candidate will be able to efficiently manage large maintenance works by implementing all aspects of planning and monitoring, whilst achieving maximum effectiveness and minimal disruption to line performance while executing their maintenance and projects. The applicant must have had a minimum 5 years experience in brewing or soft drink manufacturing industry Maintain and ensure a work safe environment Supervising a team of fitters and welders. Bottling and canning fillers and seamers Line packaging equipment Installation of machinery as required Ammonia refrigeration equipment Boilers and ancillary equipment Stainless steel welding and installation Oversee planned maintenance servicing Manage adequate spare parts inventory.
