Assistant Business Analyst
A leading International manufacturing company (Builders and Property Developers) based in Ormeau, Queensland, Australia is seeking the expertise of a Business Process Analyst with strong Business Process Management Technologies experience.
This role would suit someone who enjoys getting deeply involved with the business users to understand their problems and take ownership of IT solutions to satisfy current issues and help solve underlying business problems.

Core Responsibilities include:

•Assist the BA in gathering and documenting business requirements and provide functional design

•Assist the BA in Conduct BPM using specific tools


•Assist the BA in setting up the framework to ensure project teams are following quality processes and methodology

•Assist the BA in Identifying process improvement initiatives

• Assist the BA in Identifying cost/benefit models and present business cases

•Participate in UAT and Testing activities

Essential Functions:

Assist the BA in creating process models, specifications and Flow diagrams at different levels of detail. Document existing business processes in order to define current business activities, procedures and models (“As-Is” process mapping). Assist the BA in documenting business processes to consider changes and optimizations. Additionally, Co-operate defining operations requirements and system goals.








Education and Experience Qualification

To be considered for this opportunity, we are seeking for a person that possess the following qualifications:

•A University degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Business Administration and the like with a minimum of 2 years commercial experience

•Solid experience with VISIO and Use Cases is mandatory

•Background in Oracle products /database system integration is an advantage

•Solid understanding and background in Microsoft environments such as Windows, Sharepoint, etc

•Experience writing business requirements documents

•Experience in working with technical staff to make system changes and improvements

•Experience in data related projects

•Experience in project governance

•Strong English communication skills

•Exposure to retail would be highly regarded

•Creative mindset and able to see the big picture

•Background in System Analysis is an advantage

• Able to act as an agent of positive change and can demonstrate a proactive approach in ensuring user needs are met and IT systems are implemented according to deadlines.

•At least 1 year ERP software implementation experience.

Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications

Working hours from 8am - 5pm Mon-Sat AEST
