OFFICE BASED ONLY Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Program, configure, and maintain VoIP systems; * Create and complete client hand-over documentations; * Directly communicate with clients to obtain their respective phone system requirements; * Provide 2nd level support via phone and/or remote desktop technologies; * Conduct R&D on new related technologies to enhance existing infrastructure and software, and reduce operating costs; * Web UI development; * Attend to emergencies that arise outside of normal business hours; * Ensure that minimal bugs are coded into the software systems; * Implement monitoring and alerting systems; * Implement internal procedures and policies with efficient automated software systems; Mandatory Education Tertiary / University Degree in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering. A copy of your certificate MUST be provided along with the scores you achieved in each unit.   Mandatory Skills Required You will be required to demonstrate these skills, DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THESE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. * Minimum 5 years programming experience in a procedural and object orientated languages. * Minimum 2 year experience with Asterisk. * Minimum 2 years experience in administrating, deploying, networking and securing Linux * Minimum 2 years experience in programming, administrating and database design in MySQL * Minimum 5 years software design and engineering. * Minimum 1 programming with HTTP POST, HTTP GET API's. * Minimum 1 programming with Web Services. * Fast learner of new technologies * Ability conduct R&D on new technologies and how they can best help MondoTalk in delivery of features and operating cost reductions. * Attention to detail to ensure minimal bugs are coded into software systems * Ability to prioritise tasks and reschedule tasks to meet with deadlines and changes in customer priorities * Good written and spoken English skills | |
